An online scientific seminar at the Department of International Relations

On October 9, 2020, at the Department of International Relations an online scientific seminar was held.

A third-year PhD student of the specialty "International Relations" G.K. Uteulieva made a report on the topic "Foreign policy of S. Abe: conceptualization and political implementation". Teaching staff and other PhD students of the department attended the seminar.

Uteulieva G.K. analyzed the so-called The "Abe Doctrine" of the former Japanese Prime Minister in the field of foreign policy and diplomacy, told about both his achievements in this area and his failures during his rule. Shinzo Abe announced his resignation on August 28, having served as prime minister for a record term since 2012. He became the prime minister of Japan twice. The first term of office was from 2006 to 2007.

After the report, questions were asked about the status of the emperor of Japan, the 9th article of the country's Constitution, as well as the reasons for the resignation of S. Abe.
