International distance school “Actual problems of European integration and diplomacy” of the project “Jean Monnet. Chair of “European Diplomacy””

In the period from April 15 to 30 of the current year an international distance school “Actual problems of European integration and diplomacy” was held according to the implementation plan of the project “Jean Monnet. Chair of "European Diplomacy"  in the framework of the European Commission program Erasmus + by the project team from the teaching staff of Faculty of International Relations (Medeubaeva Zh.M., Tashtemkhanova R.M, Velichkov K., Tokar P.V, Zhanbulatova R.S, Kenzhalina G.Zh.).  The aim of the distance school was to improve the skills and expand the competence of teachers of secondary schools, colleges, universities in teaching disciplines on history, the current state of integration processes and diplomacy of the European Union.

Teachers from educational institutions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia (a total of 100 participants) participated in the work of the distance school. They were given the opportunity remotely, without interruption in their teaching activity, to complete a course of lectures on topical issues of integration and diplomacy of the European Union in the amount of 72 hours. Feedback from the school audience has been provided by answers to the indicated questions and writing an essay on the proposed topics by the participants. Participants who successfully completed the course and summarized the lecture materials were certified.
