The formation of anti-corruption culture of the young generation

Currently, anti-corruption efforts are being conducted and constantly improved in the world. There is no single anti-corruption mechanism in the world that could be applied in all countries. Each country has its own set of anti-corruption methods related not only to the political and economic stability of the country, but also to the customs and traditions of the country, the level of religious identity and legal culture.

Today, combating corruption is one of the main issues of our country. Corruption is a great social tragedy. Economic modernization and large-scale social transformations in Kazakhstan have demonstrated the need for a comprehensive strategy that is closely linked to the state's modern social and economic anti-corruption policies. In this regard, on December 26, 2014, a new anti-corruption strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025 was approved, and on November 18, 2015, the law "On anti-corruption activities" was adopted.

The purpose of the Strategy is to increase the effectiveness of the anti-corruption policy of the state and to attract the whole society by creating an atmosphere of “zero tolerance” to any manifestations of corruption, as well as generally reducing the level of corruption in Kazakhstan.

In order to develop an anti-corruption culture of students and to create a “zero” tolerance to any manifestations of corruption on October 29, 2019, at 13:00-14:00 (lecture room 335), teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages, the Faculty of International Relations A. Mutali and Nurtayeva Zh.Zh. organized an open lesson on the topic: “Formation of the anti-corruption culture of the young generation”. The event was held by Balapanova Zhansaya, students: Zheksenbaeva Ainur, Abdullaeva Zhuldyzai, Kairbai Arafat, Boribekova Nazerke and others shared their thoughts.
