On February 19, an expert meeting took place at the site of the Institute of History and International Relations of the SSU within the framework of the project "IQ Club of Russia and Kazakhstan: Development of Expert Dialogue of Eurasian Economic Community's Border Regions". The project is aimed at developing expert interaction between Russia and Kazakhstan, creating a new environment for communication between political scientists, economists and sociologists at the central and regional levels. The project received financial support in the framework of the grant of the President of the Russian Federation.
The participants discussed the concept of "Eurasian space", the development trends of Eurasian integration: 2014 - 2017, the control points of the development of the EAPS by 2025, the external contour of the EAEC: promising formats of interaction, forecast scenarios for the development of Eurasian integration, alternative integration projects in Eurasia: initiatives China, USA, EU, Iran, Turkey, India.
The presentation of the analytical report "Scenarios of the integration development of the Eurasian space: the perspective - 2025" was held within the framework of the meeting.
