On February 19, 2021, a zoom conference was held, organized by the Department of Turkology on the topic "Open Day: Presentation of Educational Programs".
The purpose of the conference was to explain to the graduating school students of the educational programs of the bachelor's degree "Turkology", "Foreign Philology: Turkish language", as well as to present the scientific and pedagogical activities of the department.
The conference was attended by over 60 participants, including schoolchildren, teachers, school directors. The participants' questions were answered in detail by the acting Head of the Department of Turkology U. A. Musabekova. The conference was moderated by PhD Shaldarbekova A.B. The teachers and professors of the department took an active part in the event.
The conference participants listened with particular interest to the speech of the invited teacher from Turkey PhD Vildan Ondzhul, who spoke about her teaching activities at the ENU at the Department of Turkology and urged those present to study here in the future. Then there were interesting reports of students of the specialties "Turkology" and "Foreign Philology: Turkish language": Anastasia Melnik, Botagoz Zhubay, Mamasali Talgaruly, Armandiyar Bostanov in Russian, Kazakh, English.
Overall, the conference was held in a very warm and lively atmosphere. We hope that we were able to interest Kazakhstani graduates!
