On December 12, 2018, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Abduljalil Sabour, visited the Eurasian National University. L.N.Gumilev.
A meeting was held within the Department of Oriental Studies, including the Arabic Language Club. During the meeting, the Honorary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco gave a lecture on the history and culture of Morocco.
At the end of the lecture, the presents were able to ask important and interesting questions about this topic, and they received interesting and useful answers. The meeting was attended by the dean of this faculty Akbota Niyazovna and the head of the department Akzhigit Alibekuly, 3-4 year students. The students were active and 3-4 year students of the course Shadi Arsen and Suikimbay Karina asked questions about the Moroccan culture, about the further development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Morocco in the field of education.
