On November 14, 2017, a seminar was held with the Kyrgyz expert Kubat Rakhimov, moderated by Seit Ali Avju and with the teachers of the regional studies department. Professors Punit G., Shenin A. and the head of the regional studies department A.Ospanova took an active part in the discussions on the topic of Eurasian integration.
Reference: Kubat Rakhimov is a well-known state and public figure, publicist, and was a head of the railways of Kazakhstan in Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltic countries. He also worked as an adviser to the Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan. At the moment he is chairman of the Committee for Export and Logistics Assistance to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. K.K. Rakhimov is the author of various articles of a scientific and journalistic nature, as well as a commentator and expert of a number of mass media of the post-Soviet space on a wide range of issues.
